Never Surrender Your Life's Chances: Response to Soft Text

Life is all about chances. If you are going to a good school take advantage. They won't accept me because I took my education for granted. I was in the streets all hours of the day trying to make something happen. I caught a case now i'm in the system looking for answers. I was mad when I figured out I caused my own self-destruction. I had a vision to get an education that'll get me a mansion. I made a plan for self-improvement. I set some goals to better my future. I have to do better for my family and never give up on my destiny.

Life Chances

In the article called Life Chances and Life Choices, he talks about uplifting yourself, your family, and your community. I feel like if you have no support around you it's going to be hard for you to do what you want, make it where you want to make it, and be what you want to be. The three goals that you should try to accomplish first. In the text it says "you must never surrender your life chances before you get to know your life choices" which means don't give up easy on what you had your mind set on because you'll never know if you complete it until it's over with. I see that a lot now because people have no hopes for their selves after they fall the first time. I'm glad I was raised by not stopping or quitting until it's over.

In the text "life chances, the author talks about being educationally and spiritually whole. I believe both are important for protecting my life chances. For example, in the text it says "even if the whole world denies you, never deny yourself." Because you are the only one that can stop you from you. "It's your doubt that can stop you from being educationally and spiritually whole again.

Life Chances Poem

Life come with so many chances educationally and spiritually. But it's crazy you only get one chance at life. But the good thing is you get so many chances to do better at life.

Your Will

If you can't walk and don't ask for help no one is going to help. If you are trying to reach to grab something and can't grab it all you can do is ask someone taller to do it for you then you will never get what you want. It's the same in school. If you don't understand what a teacher says and don't ask questions you will never understand or be able to do your work. The message I wrote connects with what the writer wrote, "if your will to fail is stronger than my will for you to succeed, then you will fail."
