Darkness is more complex than light

Man’s mystery travels through a city founded by a darker brother

The criminal and civil cases halves the people

The salt from Lake Michigan

Gives the entire city emotional blood pressure

That presses me to scream Black Lives Matter

In a universe that is 2/3 dark matter

There’s no wonder why my neighborhood

Feels let down

Instead of lifted 

Caught between light and darkness

Love and madness

Promise and Pain

It is hard to be whole in a universe that is almost empty

We are born into a dark world

Full of negative energy

Our brain weighs less than a laptop
But has more brain cells than books in a library

The world is so empty

But seems so full

Almost half my city's population is criminals

They lock us up like animals

They judge us by how we appear

And not by how we think or feel

The earth is polluted

But the air still smells fresh to me

Our lake looks so dirty

But our ocean water looks so tasty

Where a lot of lives are taken

My city the city of Chicago is full of crime all during the day,

Because kids running the streets and parents barely have a stable place to stay,

The value of my city is 2.7 million. and 
1.2 Are criminals of the state

Whether you're light or dark 
you still can be a victim of poverty in my city

Street corners are gold minds and war zones

It's Easy ways to get money running the streets or being a criminal

Now a days the judges lynch us with 100 years use to hang us by a tree

Life is a sacrifice and it's your choice if you make it dark or light – E.j

This City Has A Story To Tell

They say the Universe Is Full Of Things But 99.9% of the physical world is empty. Dark matter is a mysterious substance making up most of the material universe when 2/3 of the universe is dark matter. Chicago has 2.7 million people 45% white, 33% black, 28% Latino or Hispanic but founded by a black men jean Baptiste point du Sable. We have 1.2 million criminal and civil cases but 13 courthouses. 70% is dark energy 25% is dark matter which leaves us with 5% of what?

Darkness in Chicago

While invisible matter takes up 26.8% in the universe, 68.3% of the matter is nowhere to be found. Or is it? Dark matter is everywhere.  there is currently 1.2 civil and criminal cases open about half the population of the city. The darkness isn’t in sight but the yellow tape is.

Dark city

Where I came from is a place where people don’t really care or thinks about education. In my neighborhood you’ll see kids and teens in the streets doing bad stuff while they're supposed to be in school. 25 percent of students wouldn’t graduate from high school and 15 percent wouldn’t make it to high school. 90 percent of the kids and teens are more likely to be gang affiliated. 70 percent of my neighborhood is dark energy.

Live and Die in Chicago

In Chicago black and brown people be dying 'cause of these streets

They say 'cause they bad people but I say there’s a background behind 'em

Brain weighs 3lbs but it feels like 20lbs because all the negativity they giving us

The sun is out at 9 am but i be in my dark mind without no one asking how I feel

I see a lot of red tape in these streets but not enough graduations.
